Southeastern Ohio Festivals...

As Miss Gallia County, I must make several appearances over the next few months until the end on my reign. I was searching for festivals on the web and I thought you might want to know where I may go....maybe you will go, too!
According to http://www.ofea.org/, there are several festivals coming up in March...


Wild Turkey Festival

McArthur, Vinton County, OhioStreets of McArthurMay 1 - 4, 2008 Watch the downtown streets of McArthur come alive with food, music and fun for the whole family. Activities such as Great nightly entertainment on the sound stage, carnival rides and games, car show, quilt show, queens and baby contests. Grand parade will be Saturday, May 3, at 6:00p.m., followed by the crowning of the 2008 Wild Turkey Festival Queen. Oak Hill Festival of Flags

Oak Hill, Jackson County, OhioVillage HallMay 22 - 25, 2008 The Oak Hill Village Festival of Flags was established to promote Patriotism and respect for the U.S. Flag. Over 2,000 flags are displayed throughout the Village. The festival is held at Aetna Park with continuous free entertainment. Rides, Crafts, Food booths, Baby Contest, Dog Show, Old Car Show, Historic Exhibitions (One-room School), Karaoke Contest, Corn Toss Tournament, Quilt Show,5-K Run and children’s activities.
